I've been at home now from work for 2 days--and one of my pastimes has been youtubing...now I'm not sure if its the fever or the bordem but i think this guys is entertaining :p

His name is Shane Dawson, a struggling actor I believe-who posts videos on youtube to start up his fame.... they're all pretty much silly clips making fun of people or playing little contest...this particular one (above) is about pick up lines and the one below is him ranting about loosing his job....

After watching the video I went to another related video about the girl which discusses her past relationships--including her ex---> a bow (as in a bow and arrow!)

Avirl Lavigne filed for divorce! :s

LOS ANGELES – Court records show Avril Lavigne has filed for divorce from her musician husband after three years of marriage. Lavigne filed for divorce from Sum 41 singer Deryck Jason Whibley on Friday in Los Angeles.

The couple were married in July 2006 and have no children together. Lavigne cited "irreconcilable differences."

The 25-year-old punk-pop singer burst to fame with her 2002 debut album "Let's Go."

Lavigne is asking a ruling to block Whibley from receiving spousal support.

I am going to the BALL!

A night of mystery (the mask part) and elegance (the dress part baaaabyy!)!! Im soooo excited to go to the BALL! "L" and I have spent many a nights talking about how we both wished we lived in "Gone With the Wind" time or any other where women wore gorgeous ball gowns and men were gentlemen, and the masks, and the music, and the dancing OOOO MY :)

Now I know this ball will most likely be use getting down to kanye but still I'm sure we will have sooo much fun!! L and I are trying to get a group of 10 of our friends together for a table...and it's all for a good cause too! All proceeds go to the animals :)

I can't wait to get all dressed up!!!

Review: SAYIDATY

During my lunch break I stopped by this lil' book shop in Avenues Phase II and didnt find any of the magazines I usually read so I picked up Sayidaty. AND I gotta say I really enjoyed it! They discussed fashion (which is always a MUST in women's magazines) and topics I found VERY interesting, including: the bride that set the fire during a wedding in Jahra a couple months ago, victims of acid burning in Pakistan, the controversy around virginity testing, "qat" a legal drug popular in Yemen and in many other countries, eating right at work (which I enjoyed cause I snack like a racoon!) and an interview with Megan Fox! I was really impressed and I def recommend the magazine to you guys for something a little different and more related to our region.

Heath Ledgers LAST MOVIE!

That's right people! The movie is called Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus. Apparently this star-packed movie was Ledger's last project before he died. I think the story is he never finished it--but just like Hollywood to release something AFTER the star has died--it's going to be really interesting to find out how they completed the movie!

Some other stars to look forward to in this childhood adventure movie....


Release date is set for October 16--I for one CAN NOT WAIT! I def will NOT miss this!

Judge accused of having sex with inmates!--yuck!

O god this is disgusting!! Apparently this judge would demand spanking and/or sex from inmates on trial in exchange for leniency.

A case is already being put together with over 15 inmates ready to testify against the judge as well as overwhelming evidence to corroborate their story.

This is just sick!

I wonder how the cases he has tried in the past will be affected? Since he would give someone that did have sex with him like 8 years jail time and inmates who wouldn't have sex with him 30 years--for the same crime! I think his cases need to be reevaluated.

Disgusting and disgraceful for a judge! ugh!

October 6 website SOLVED!

ooookay so I went back to that website from that mysterious sms and found out it's some sort of competition ZAIN is doing... It's all about "finding Fahad" (a character from the little videos they had on their site)...

Apparently they will be updating their page with clues to help you solve the mystery and whoever "finds" Fahad has a shot of winning $10,000 or other valuable prizes....

I just read this wonderful story about a 14-year old boy in Malawi who quite literally saved his village :)

Seriously say 7amdilah for your life and appreciate this boys determination.

I honestly don't remember how I came across this website but I just had to share!
