Apparently it was for inspiring hope...which is oooook but seriously not worthy of such an award. In all fairness he did say he didnt feel like he deserved it.

Then again Yaser Arafat won this and he was a useless piece of flesh and bones. So message to the nobel committee "Your standards are slipping and you should look a lot harder for people who really do deserve this even if it doesnt make as big of a publicity splash as this did"
