Tracey, now Thomas Beattie just had his/her second child.
Originally a woman, Tracey felt she was meant to be a man and underwent surgery and began taking hormones. Later, as Thomas, he found love with Susan. But their arrangements is a bit odd--Thomas has the children, and Susan breast feeds them.
I reaaaaally dont want to sound like a closed minded hater BUT cmon ....*speechless*....

ReplyDeleteyes, yes i am that perfect! at least i know as a female what my body is supposed to do and what its not, i am not expecting sperm to magically pop out of me, no more than i expect my husband to carry my child!!!!

I am all about keeping an open mind but messing with nature to that extent just seems wrong.
ReplyDeleteObviously i dont know the ins and outs of this story so it could be justified, but a debate about moral and ethical conduct (specific to this case and other cases) should be had.
Another question is what are the long term medical side effects to the kids? If there are any then isnt that criminal? Even if it was unintentional.
The whole pregnancy/birth/nursing/menstral cycle is monitered and maintained by precise levels of female hormones and glitches often cause still births, early term labor, birth defects etcs.
So a dose of testosterone for a pregnant or nursing woman is highly unlikely to have no effects.
Posing the question...should it be legal? and where do we draw the line between personal choice and protection of the public.
Regardless that shit looks weird and is plain WRONG!
